Thread Traders Return Policy
At Thread Traders, we pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of our products. However, on rare occasions, manufacturing errors or printing issues may occur. In such cases, we are happy to offer reprints under the following terms and conditions.

What Can Be Returned?

  • Faulty/Damaged Items: Only items that are found to be faulty or damaged may be returned.
  • Faulty Prints: If a print is found to be faulty, a reprint will be offered. Please note that changes in color, product, size, or design will not be allowed once the reprint is approved.

Please keep in mind that all orders are printed using digital DTF (Direct-to-Film) technology. Monitors vary in color display, and our printers use a CMYK color palette, which may result in slight color differences. We do not print hyper-color, fluorescent, or metallic designs using digital inks. For more information on design tips, please refer to our FAQ page.


Important Notes

  • Design Approval: Before placing an order, please carefully examine your design for any errors. To keep costs low and pass savings to our customers, Thread Traders does not proof documents or designs submitted by customers before processing. Once an order is approved and paid for, it is considered final, and changes may not be guaranteed.
  • No Returns for Incorrect Size/Design: Custom-printed apparel, promotional products, and printing orders are non-returnable unless the merchandise is misprinted, materially flawed, or defective. We are not responsible for errors such as incorrect file uploads, wrong logos, or apparel sizing issues after printing.


Tolerances

  • Sizing Variations: Sizes may vary between manufacturers and styles. We are not responsible for variations in size, color, or shade between garments from different suppliers due to fabric differences or dye lots.
  • Print Placement: A tolerance of ±2.5cm for garment sizing and ±3cm for print placement is acceptable. Print dimensions may have a tolerance of ±1cm.


What Cannot Be Returned

  • Custom-printed items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are misprinted, materially flawed, or defective.
  • Variations in garment colour or shade, and size discrepancies, are not grounds for returns.
  • Incorrect size selection or design errors after order approval will not be accepted for returns or exchanges.


Return Process

  1. Eligibility: If your items are misprinted, materially flawed, or defective, you must contact us at hello@threadtraders.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your invoice number and details of the issue.
  2. Approval: Upon receiving your request, we will review it and issue a Return Authorisation (RA) Number if your return is approved.
  3. Shipping Costs: All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We do not reimburse shipping fees.


How to Return a Product
If eligible, email us at hello@threadtraders.com.au with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • Purchase date
  • Items being returned
  • Description of the error or defect
  • A photo of the issue

Once approved, return the product to the following address with the RA number clearly visible on the outside of the parcel: Factory 5/10 Klauer St, Seaford Victoria 3198


Final Notes

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order. Please ensure that the RA number is clearly marked on your return package. Orders that are not accompanied by an RA number may not be processed.
